Privacy Policy

Mama Blueprint ("we", "us") helps you build a personalized birth preferences document and hospital bag checklist through a guided conversation. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you sign in, we receive your email address, and — if you use "Sign in with Google" — your name and profile picture from Google, and Supabase (our authentication provider) issues you a session.
• Your conversation and preferences. What you type in the chat, and the birth preferences and hospital bag details built from it, including any health, medical, or personal circumstances you choose to share. This is the core of what the app produces for you.
• Basic technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) generated automatically by our hosting provider.

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

How we use it

• To run the conversation and generate your birth preferences document and hospital bag checklist.
• To save your progress so it's there when you come back, if you're signed in.
• To operate, secure, and improve the app.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your conversation content to show you ads.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Mama Blueprint. They process data on our behalf, under their own privacy and security commitments — we don't sell or license your data to them for their own purposes:

• Anthropic — processes your chat messages to generate the assistant's replies and to extract your stated preferences.
• Supabase — hosts our database and handles sign-in.
• Google — if you choose "Sign in with Google."
• Vercel — hosts the application.

If you use the hospital bag checklist, product links may go to Amazon; we may earn a commission on purchases through those links as an Amazon Associate. We don't share your personal information with Amazon through this — the affiliate link only tracks that a purchase came from our site.

If we ever add paid features, a payment processor (e.g. Stripe) would handle your payment details directly — we don't store card numbers ourselves.

A note on sensitive information

Birth preferences can include health-related and personal details. We treat this content with care: it's used only to build your document and improve the conversation for you, never sold, and never used for advertising.

Cookies and local storage

We use only the essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and to save your progress if you're not signed in (stored on your own device). No advertising cookies.

Your choices

• If you're not signed in, "Start over" clears your saved conversation from this browser.
• If you're signed in, you can ask us to delete your account and all associated data by emailing us at support@mama-blueprint.com.

Children's privacy

Mama Blueprint is intended for adults preparing for childbirth and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll update the effective date above when we do.
